Douglas Haynes
Doug is a prominent Canadian abstract artist. His paintings are a skillful blend of his knowledge of art history, his desires to find his own solutions and his ability to break new ground. Hayne's paintings connect with an emotional intensity that results from the glowing blocks of colour which seem to momentarily float to the surface of the vibrantly coloured background, trailing halos of light.
