published by the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, Kleinburg, Ontario in 1999
alongside an important retrospective of McCarthy's art. This book provides a
detailed chronology of the artists life, 124 colour images of her work between
1924 - 99 and a number of short essays from "those who know her best".
